So the question is how long and not if. We are getting rid of Australia, significantly slow recruiting in the US, Canada and the Brits, Malaysian have gone / going. So what happens when we have a major incident in a few years time. I give it 5 or so years; we still have some highly qualified technical SMEs who pick things up but they are being pup’s so we won’t have them much longer

We will lose our ability but our leadership will look for whys to change the message and only point out the positive story
We will quickly lose our ability to execute projects as well.
OP it won't take five years for bad things to happen. They're already happening it's just that you don't hear about them. They ain't too bad but they're a sign that bad things are about to start happening. Always keep your car keys in your pocket. You will have to get the heck out of your site in a hurry. After the explosions let the BTC come from India and deal with the mess.

Unfortunately I think it’ll take a large process safety incident for our company to wake up to the fact that you can’t pip out all your anchor SME’s at the cost of trying to find future VP’s. I’m too old to leave but I’m one of the few people left keeping bad days from occurring.
