If I get a job outside of Cisco before Nov 15, will I loose severance ?

Be smart and don't officially accept a new job until after Nov 15. A quick check on a W2 can indicate double dipping.

Be careful there, in the feb round it was pretty specific that if you took a role before the end date you would put the package at risk. I know someone that was sc--wed over at Cisco (he had relocated for the job and two months later got a package), he got approval to start somewhere else early. I also know some that just did it. I wanted the time so I asked for a start date that matched up well with the end date for me. Signed my package and started my new role the next Monday.

Don't tell them about it. I got a new job right away when I took the ER package in 2020. No problem whatsoever.

Can’t you slip and fall and take a month off?

Absolutely none of their business. Just keep it to yourself. You should be all about you now.

If your last day as an employee is Nov. 15th, and you get a job before then, you will not receive severance
