A simple survey in a random bldg in alder Dr cluster

Lab is on the first floor, second and third floor are where open space workers are

I made two counts, mentally, the total number of individuals per floor and second the number of white people

I did this this week, post LR

I counted one out of 60 something on second floor and 2 out of 60 something on the second floor

Approx 2.5% white dudes, one was in a conference room with all remote participants in a meeting with avatars only

Other two at desks working solo

I knew there was some demographic concentration in some teams but this seems like the end state

Diversity only works when all groups follow the values of diversity. If any group favors their own, they will become the group in power even if they previously lacked power. Then, when you demonize the group perceived as having power and allow discriminate against them without giving them a voice to defend themselves, then they lose power.
It’s clear this is currently happening.

This is pretty b.s. - the white people in my team work remote and some are even in the northern countries - so how do you measure the diversity?

Diversity isn’t one race - regardless of which race it is. If the overwhelming majority is from one ethnic group, that’s discrimination.
The problem is some ethnic groups can favor their own and their behavior still not be viewed as discrimination. If you call it out, you are the racist one.

unless you have the red dot on your head, part of the tribe or really have a dark tan, youre the minority and will be LR sooner or later no matter how many DEIs you carry on your back every day, its the real burden even though every media outlet says your the one to blame for everything, lets see once they get rid of us how well things go

Quit playing the race card, if you need something to blame, then blame corporate greed, not this silliness. Stop turning on reach other. Some (not all) old white guys sure do have a hard time with not being treated special.

Congratulations you've realized you're as dispensable as the rest of us. Instead you should count how many rich executives got laid off versus the rest of the workforce. The rich elite are laying people off while the company is making record profits.
