I wonder from where they have their information. I hope not from thelayoff.com or blind.

To get fully vested RSU if you are LR'ed, it needs to meet following all of 3 requirements.
Age 55+
Service more than 5 years.
Age+Service years >70.

An evil ELT would then simply stop handing out RSUs to employees age 53+ :)

California — where they scream to the world how much better they are than everyone else. Except when it comes to delivering actual results. Right, guvner?

Atlanta, where they can hire the 13% out of college at historically low rates.

VP and above have special golden parachutes for exit packages

unless you know of this factually, I would doubt it

VP isn't special anymore; I doubt VP at Cisco is comp'd better than Principal Engineer at Meta, Google etc

my guess is they have good salary, good RSUs but got the same pkg as everyone else

I would assume golden parachutes are for C level only

VP and above have special golden parachutes for exit packages why do you worry about them, even directors would have huge payouts in some form or the other they are executive cadres rules are very different for them compared to the minions who are paid in peanuts

Wow that’s some serious action !
Wonder if they get a full RSU vest instead of just till end of year though.

Not the mention the Operations SVP who was pink slipped and walked out the day before the LR was announced. She created a toxic environment from all the accounts and worse by others. Good riddance. IMHO

“Cisco is laser focused on growth, consistent execution, and resetting our cost structure as we invest in AI, cloud, and cybersecurity,” Blum wrote at the time.

What a lie!! Cisco had $10 billions in profits yet laid off 7%, not retrained and moved employees.

There's still some VPs in enterprise/SP that have no reason to be at csco, let alone managing an org. If you had your hands in SP as a dir + or a delivery lead you should be fired immediately.

Could not have said any better. SP is in FAR worse condition, all delivery leads and VP must be fired (not LR) immediately.

Seems like they’re moving more offices to India.
