How IPF really works:
- It has nothing to do with your actual performance
- it a work-backwards fudge number
- your leadership decides how much bonus they want to give you and adjust that number to make that happen
I got mine on Friday.
Not true. My manager did all of his direct reports on Friday.
I really feel for some of you who have cr-p management in your chain of command. It seems to be the norm rather than the exception.
No manager is having it today as the IPFs and bonuses are low this year. Always delay bad news till the last minute is the wisdom.
My manager delayed this week’s 1:1 until next week so they could have the IPF discussion then & save a meeting.
Your manager got web letters released to them today and they're supposed to have a discussion with their report between today and the 27th. Once your manager has a discussion with you, they can release the webletter to you.
Anybody being told differently has a lazy manager, and I feel sorry for you
