On 17Sep2024 Sotera Health decided to not only shutdown Bozeman Montana site but also included laying off 20 of their employees at their Salt Lake City location. These people were all lab specialists (Study Directors, Sr. Scientists, etc.) with 6-20+ years of experience with the company. The company has been hiring consistently for months prior to the lay offs and the reasoning behind it all was to open up positions for Sr. Scientists.
