At one time, actively reducing as many folks via PIP mechanism. That seems to have slowed down with LR announcement.

Managers who have personal vendettas against their team members love to find excuses to put their subordinates on PIPs.
Who needs to have a discussion and work out problems between a manager and their direct report? Respect mah auth-or-ah-ty!
PIP is the worse thing and I never seen a guy can survive after it. Manager will pile up tasks no one can finish. Harsh words also included. Cisco already miserable no need to have PIP hearse. If you don't like someone just let go.
