So how were your MetLife VPs different from your prior employer? D-mb D-mb d-mb d-mb.
Lots of laid off people have been hired at the competitor as the top guy in the competitor has laid off people there and want to bring his laid off tribe from the former employer. The laid of people in the laid of company are feeling the heat and the top guy is pi----g happily.
We want to layoff all old id--ts and bring in new and young folks to run this magnificent company.
Close.
We want to lay off all expensive employees (read that as US, and Europe, except it's hard to get rid of a European employee) and bring in cheap employees (read that as Indians, especially females) who will have lower hourly rates (even if the total cost is more) and never question a management decision.
We want to layoff all old id--ts and bring in new and young folks to run this magnificent company. So shut your mouth and don’t post cr-p here. You former laid off useless d-mb heads.

As in what?
Like, "Thank your for applying. Before we go to far, I just wanted you to be aware that MetLife quietly lays people off from time to time. Will that be a problem for you?"
VPs in the NYC office talk about stool and Hi-5 each other for that.
So much cronyism and nepotism. lower quality people brought in, but very hard to leave now. Unless they give you a package!
Someone on this board explained MetLife prefers d-mb VPs. My VP has no idea what is going on and watches tv all day at home.
You should see what passes for AVP these days in the NYC office (Legal and other nearby depts). The bar is and remains on the floor, while the underlings are expected to cure cancer and end world hunger. Circus. Clowns.
