Is the word getting out?

Almost every LR in the past our manager would give us the "we're safe" call. Not this time. Or maybe it's too early.
This can only happen after notifications went out. So, end of day on Sep 16, your manager will probably tell the group that all notifications went out (and those who did not get them are save).

If they already have a list, what’s the point of them waiting until 9/16?
Call it whatever you want. Doesn’t matter what it’s called anymore. What matters is that you pay attention. 🙄
It wasn’t “the Beat”. It was a “Check-In”.
Finally someone who listened in the beat. Too many people messing around in the chat and missing the details.
your managers already have the list but forget about trying to get them to spill the bean. Like someone already mentioned, they signed NDA so they can't say anything even if you ask them. Just know that until 9/16, no one is safe including all the way up to director level.
No, 350 this week is a leftover from Feb.
ELT is very safe and unaffected
350 notified this week are part of 7% with majority from CX dumped under IT with blunders of ELT playing with CX
Directors don't know sh-t.
No one's going to hear anything before 9/16. My director decided irritatingly to say we were having a meeting to "answer questions about the LR and new PTO policy", but he had no answers to anything, just "I can't say" to questions that mattered, and "I wish there wasn't the delay before notification too"...so, no one is saying anything and seems won't.
So i guess there’s no way for an IC to know?
No, people aren’t getting updates. Any leaders that get roped into making lists and notifications will be required to sign an NDA. Notifications (and all clear) for the Q1 layoff begin on 9-16.
The 350 notified this week are not part of the 7%. They said on Monday that they are rollover from the February impact that just hadn’t been informed yet.
All I can tell you is that the ELT is safe.
09/16
So only senior leaders know and signed NDA? Or are lower level managers/ICs being brought in as well
Nobody really knows. Every senior leader signed an NDA.
