Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Should MW get moved to India as well

When the HESS deal falls through and Exxon beats Chevron there as well, who is to blame then? There have been several "retirements" announced which seem like damage control. Might be time to ask the old guy to join the ENGINE movement and find a real leader

Executives are all following the same playbook. Exxon closed down sites outside of Houston. Was able to reduce headcount in doing so as not everyone wanted to move. Consolidated all Houston locations to a single office. Now that single office in Houston is less than half full with many empty buildings and they are still cutting headcount. No hiring with recruiting dropped down to only a few universities.

MW: we are moving our HQ to Houston to consolidate our workforce and foster better collaboration with our employees and business partners

MW: we are offshoring 1000s of jobs to India because our competition did it. Who cares about that collaboration thing it can be done remotely because the poor Indians will work on shifts

Watching the second engine, no sign of MW. How spineless can you be? Let's hope when he gets his ar-e to Houston, the next stiff breeze will blow him out into the Gulf of Mexico.

MW won't like the quality of Botox they have there.

Hard to imagine that India would be substantively worse at execution and acquisition than MW and MN have been.
