You are in a company that plays layoff roulette. They are laying you off if it comes up Red or Black and your only saving grace is 0 or 00. Get over it. You are making the choice to work in a company and industry where layoffs are the norm.
She is known for cutting people. Anyone in her organisation should be put on notice whether they've been formally told or not.
