Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Too many people are quitting

They're giving this cr-ppy leadership exactly what they want. I can't understand why people would leave on their own knowing that there's always a high possibility of layoffs. That's like leaving thousands of dollars on the table. Be more patient, let them pay you to leave. That's why I'm still here.

Four rounds of cuts impacted by team between ‘22 and ‘23, despite delivering a high profile digital product.

The company can’t tell success from failure, or at least punishes both equally. Clown Management is why I left.

IT and PD are losing a lot of smart people.

Nah, just leave if you have a better opportunity available. I left recently and I would have loved there to be a package or severance to line up with my resignation, but I am leaving to a new company and wouldn't wish layoffs on my Ford colleagues or on any company as it's us working folk who always pay the price.

Glad I left. Too many good people wasting their lives for nothing.

It’s better to be the first rat off of a sinking ship so you can get a piece of flotsam before their all occupied.

The irony is that those people who are good employees are the ones that leave and help the company cut cost, leaving the company with a bunch of lazy losers just hoping for a payout.
