Thread regarding Saudi Aramco layoffs

Ponzi scheme

Word at the core is that there was a runner recently who was getting millions from his management in Public Affairs for some reputation app he owned. He fled the country when it was reported. Talk about corruption. We can probably be guaranteed that some low level directors made millions for allow it.

You couldn’t make stuff this up. A reputation app that damages Aramco reputation! That’s a new one!

Those involved will disappear quietly, paid off under NDA. Nothing to see here, move on.

PS, I’ve got a bridge to sell if anyone in PA wants one?

Who ever named this group is hilarious. Shouldn’t take a brain surgeon to identify the runner. Was top gossip last couple months in the core. Unbelievable that the manager and director are still employed. My guess is they are either extremely corrupt and need to be summoned to the Ritz by MBS or they are extremely stupid. Truly both are possible options given it is Aramco the land of really d-mb people.

I’m amazed this info even got out. Somebody broke the code of silence. Management must be terrified!

Haha. This explains why the SVP has banned all new contracts without his “pre approval”. Not enough palms greased.

The VP who is referred to as KAZ would have signed off on the contracts. Given his relationship with MD nothing surprises me. Such a corrupt place. He had been “on vacation” for months.

So VP is now on “assignment” alongside others. A trip to the Ritz Carlton awaits.

Shockingly big department. Almost take up an entire floor in core. Probably 200 people. Mainly locals so realistically it probably only needs 20 people who actually know how to do PA work.

PA can’t be that big. Wouldn’t take much deduction to identify the posters below. Yikes.

Can confirm… I work in PA and he was part of our team. He worked for MD who is both our director and VP’s fav pet. Our larger team always found it weird how his company was given so many contracts. He openly told everyone he created rep tracker and MD made an entire division on reputation for him and his pockets to get rich which makes me believe she likely got a cut. Our director is an expat and he also knew about it so maybe he also got money. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more cracks in our larger department starting to show and smell of corruption. Our VP is widely know to lined his pockets through shady ways so it has to mean his directors and managers do the same.

I heard people talking about this in North park. Apparently he worked for an Aramco brat manager who is “close” to the VP of Public Affairs. Aramco has been paying his private company for years for his services. It’s what their whole department is built on. PA is one of the most corrupt departments at Aramco.

YES! We heard about this in an OCD meeting. Apparently two departments in Public Affairs paid for his product sole source. The two directors are under investigation. One is an expat and the other is local. The runner probably made millions.

It’s everywhere I’m afraid. If they ever got some forensic accountants in they’d find world beating levels of graft. Personally I have witnessed hundreds of millions in dodgy contract awards in my time here. Comes with the territory.
