boh+1u5Z4pkO: Bare Bones? There were 177,000 employees in 2023. There's definitely room to cut. I agree that there are areas that are short of resources. Unfortunately, most of the lower level people get cut. it is still to top-heavy, filled with people making 'important decisions' when they are just glorified message passers.
I don’t see it happening on a large scale. Why? Because we are now at a bare bone. Management knows this, so the plan is to keep people on the edge and have each leave on their own without paying anything.
It's coming ... it's coming ... it's coming. Dear Lord, would someone please just make it happen already! I'm ready go, but I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm waiting to see if I'm offered a package, involuntarily cut, or if I simply have to leave on my own. I've got nothing better to do than to hang around to see what happens, but I feel that something is likely brewing, although I personally don't feel Ford can afford to cut anyone if they want to maintain progress on quality, but I'm ready to go.
An interesting tidbit... The BLS is eliminating about 1,000,000 jobs from their jobs numbers for the past year. So, the job market really is a lot worse than the narrative would have you believe.
This looks really, really bad for the Regime.
And Stellantis sent out voluntary separation packages this morning.
More jobs going overseas.
2 years ago nobody thought a bunch of careers would be eliminated on Aug 22.
Ford could have played a different hand but leadership wants to ride this ship to the bottom.
As with everything, if it looks too good to be true then it probably is not real...
Agree. It’s coming. The BIG ONE. Now more than ever - Brace for impact!!!!!!!!!
It's coming......
