I got an interview for BH at their controls place in Bristol (think it’s actually in a town outside), wonder if there are any tips, it’s for a S/W eng position. Lots of mixed messages from some people I know going from, don’t touch with barge pole, to easy place to coast and make some cash for doing very little. I’m in the twilight of my career so looking for an easy ride into retirement. Any advice?

Come to GE Aerospace in wilmington NC we are hiring and pay much more than BH. Machine operators make 45.18hr
Dont know where you got this advice. Theyve laid off so many people over the years anyone left is doing the jobs of 5 people.
You will never be safe. Layoffs every year it seems like, especially the older and experienced with higher salaries. The company is horribly mismanaged.
I'd look elsewhere unless you are content with maybe a 2-3 year ar best job. Making a career at Baker is no longer a thing.
My hot tip (if you are not Fu--y) would be to wear a very tight short dress without any pa-ties and bend over often during your interview to expose your talents.
Oh wait, almost missed the part about being in the twilight of your career......so, my tip is not applicable to you, because they like to run off the people when you are in your 50's.
Of course, a site full of angry fired former employees is the best place to ask for an interview advice :)
Just try to be likable and not spoil an opportunity, if your resume is better than others you'll get an offer.
Easy place to coast and do very little? Jog on… there’s enough of us working our assess off in this place - even if the place is a shambles.
The tip of running might not he the best advise if not done properly. I suggest starting with a couch to 5km program and slowly ease into it. But I would say that, if the plan is to do very little, make sure you beef up your bs tactics as they might indeed work. Worst thing to do in BH is to be a keen bean as work will pile up on you and they cannot then afford to let you develop you career as you are good at your job. But if you plan to do very little and you are good with the fugazi it might just be the perfect fit. Good luck
Here's a tip... run
