Agree they layoff in smaller amounts to bypass the laws about reporting it.
At least Cisco and Intel and other companies are honest about the fact that they're laying people off. Unlike IBM. IBM is incinerating the bodies to keep regulators from finding out and destroying careers and reputations in the process. All companies fall on hard times and leaders have to make hard decisions, but not every company is as unethical, underhanded, casually sadistic as IBM is under Arvind Krishna.
