Cisco leaders stuck in fixed mindsets

In the book “Mindset” by Carol S. Dweck, it’s well explained how the useless ELT is stuck in a fixed mindset rather than embracing a growth mindset. The book mentions a “CEO disease,” which a known former CEO of General Motors also had. The Cisco ELT is facing the exact same problem. They’re only capable of maintaining the stock value through layoffs. No innovations at all. Cisco’s M&A strategy has been proven not to work, yet nothing is being changed. We urgently need leadership with a true growth mindset. I highly recommend the book. You’ll see a lot of parallels between Cisco’s EVPs, VPs, Directors, etc. and the described fixed mindset.

Cisco is not one business
Rather a third rate assembly of all it's acquisitions
It has had to buy innovation
The result is a mosaic of technologies and individuals internally competing for resources.
Politics over competence and innovation is Cisco's Achilles heel

Way too complicated theory -their heads are stuck into their rears, as simple as that.

Cisco is no different than any other corporate business. Employees are also stuck in the 90s mindset and those days are long gone.
