I've heard that Operations is having layoffs in the fall. They always seem to have reorgs and no layoffs, but maybe they're waiting to do it all at once. Anyone know if this is true?

I've heard there are layoffs happening in ops this fall. They need to cut costs before the end of the fiscal year and avoid larger bonus or LTI payments early next year. The good years of high capitalization and fat bonus payouts are in the past. I hope all the long time employees out in Springfield bought their vacation homes in Vermont when they were still cheap and can retire early because they are about to have a lot of time on their hands.
