Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Check-in is going to be wild on Monday

Stupid ELT better come with some answers, I think if they drag this cr-p out 30 days like I’ve heard… they are going to burn down what little good will is remaining.

Everyone is fooling themselves, we are going to do just enough not to get dinged, wait till we get all clear and go back to kissing butt till the next hunger games, its good money and if youre smart, you can play it to your favor. Hard work only gets you more work , no reward or promo. Leaving is an option but youll regret it as other companies will work you harder and actually measure your performance. We will continue to take the BS as long as they keep paying us, but still stare at them with total hate and discontent as our soulless prison wardens.

Need to seriously ask ELT - what is the impact do the 0.61 miss on their earnings. We need transparency.

This is bullcr-p - whether you are in the culling or survive it you are impacted by their nonsensical aka ineffective performance - for the past several years.

And hopefully we don’t fall for chuckie’s ineffectual explanation - oh my salary also got affected. Beaches you don’t get most your money from salary - you get it by treating use like FAT on initiatives you losers cannot plan properly.

Example: How do you sell your sh---y products and not know customers will have trouble adapting them. And your whole SAaS strategy is based on them adapting to the new generation of products. Lame a-s Excuses-Layoff Team.

Cisco couldn’t care less about good will. They realize they can do just about anything and most people will not leave.

They're going to say it's really hard to make these decisions despite making them on a routine basis

Hello from …..

Exactly, Cisco employees have no backbone. And so I. No surprise. We don't have a culture of open discussions here at Cisco.

As usual they’re gonna give out vanilla answers and filter/skip the questions that matter. They’re gonna start with saying LRs (“reallocations” is now the buzzword) were a difficult decision and always the last resort (sure buddy). Then expect a fantasy tale of the great achievements, amazing outlook ahead and beneficial changes with wonderful outcomes (they expect the check-in to leak so they wanna make sure stockholders get the fairytale too).

One month delay in notifying employees means one more month you get your salary, benefit, etc. Do minimum possible work and update your resume.

Not the first time this is dragged out. Recall during Covid when they had 2 stages: first early retirement then LR. Also same Dec 2022.

All will be forgotten by those who are not affected, and for Cisco in this economy, that's what matters.
