When you're at the leading edge, you're really at the bleeding edge i.e. you could bleed so much that you might even have a hemorrhage ! And, It couldn't happen to a better corporation than IBM, especially with AK's infatuation with H1Bs.
I don’t care who wrote this message, but rather I care about the underlying message “AI is replacing labor” Now ask yourselves why is that message still being distributed. I suspect to make it more palatable when it happens at your company. Fortune 500 companies play follow the leader, and most operate by the old saying “never be first, never be last, and never volunteer for anything” Keeping the AI narrative alive makes it easier for Fortune 500 companies to use it as their excuse to lower their costs
