So nervous about all these. No one seems to be knowing anything. I hv been a remote for past months, most I work with are nervous as well.
Anyone from Collab knows what is going on. with JK out and J2 new portfolio, not sure what collaboration will look like in coming months.
Time to jump ship but where to.. it seems there is only water outside.
Collab BU doing just fine. Customers moving to Cloud. Contact center too.
You were marked down for your post but I agree with you. Sad to say, UC is lost. Cisco completely out manoeuvred and outsold by Microsoft/Zoom and others. They could have owned this and they blew it, as they blow everything else. Fault is entirely with ELT and G2. "Painful decisions" are ahead for UC at Cisco and if I were in collaboration, anything to do with it, I would start polishing that CV or move to MS/Zoom.
If the ELT were doing their fiduciary duty you would have thought Collab would have been sold off long ago. There is zero chance of Cisco getting any significant market share. If I was in Collab I'd be working on my resume and trying to move to Microsoft or else reboot my career delivering Uber or something.
