I hear it too often not to be worried.

The timeline seems to be forming up: Following the Sept. 16 mandate to return to the office, some people will be let go in October. Mostly they will be the people who resist RTO or have used too much vacation/sick/personal time, and those who never should have been hired in the first place.
In April of 2025, another wave of layoffs in SAS will come as more and more engineering tasks are done in Florida and more test and assembly done in Rochester, N.Y. Finally, in late 2025 or early 2026, physically moving equipment out of the building will begin.
It seems gutting the QCE department in April came too late as quality issues continue to dog this facility.
Relax, it's almost over. Finally.
we are virtually certain that of the 32 sites the company will close by 2026, Clifton New Jersey is one of them. the company has long been wanting to move space and airborne systems to florida. if you're working in clifton, and planning to relocate to florida, don't expect a warm welcome. you will be told that you will be given the opportunity to apply for a position based on your qualifications, just like anyone else. keep in mind, that if you're not part of the company's diversity strategy, in other words Caucasian or Asian male, don't bother.
Only time will tell. If all the rumors I've heard over the years were true, there would be nobody left in the defense-aerospace industry.
However it may all be part of "rationalization." Don't forget, they need to raise cash so maybe instead of layoffs they will sell some divisions
we're hearing October will be a tough time in Clifton
