My job has become boring and repetitive to the point where I don't feel like my skills are being used or developed. I'm being told by my coworkers not to complain about being paid to do such an easy job but this is not what I signed up for when I joined five years ago. I actually want to advance my career, and there's no way I'll get there like this.

Probably just you feels this way, seems very strange. There are so many strange posts here, I have a hard time believing most are from employees.
Disruption Without Innovation.
Believe, people, you've got to BELIEEVE!
My suggestion is to be happy in your job. A bad career will negatively affect everything in your life. My advice is to move on!
Exactly....Even the Grand Wizard Alan is bailing, he's looted the company, built a fake facade, and is leaving while his facade is still shiny. No matter what they say, many customers have moved on and many are making plans to. If Alan believed there was a future is this he would have stayed so he could loot some more. Mr. Dennis is a PE stooge that will manage the sale, wake up people. Ethics left this company when Alan arrived. The "Disruption" is coming, many will find out the "without" was a lie.
The word Avaya means career ki-ler. It took 5 years for you to realize? You are joking…
So you’re saying you have an easy job? These layoffs haven’t added more work to keep you unbored, leadership hasn’t asked you to wear different hats that challenge your skill set since many specialists are gone?
Yes please leave. You’re wasting your time and probably the company’s time. I envy you but at the same time…. Just go.
So fcuk off then and get another job
