offloading real estate was at one point a possibility as a cost savings measure. LI has the NOC and the newer CCC building (formerly HBO) down the road which is occupied with Showtime folks. Then there is the CBS broadcasting center.... what are the plans for these buildings and those inside them? From email by PW sounds like spared for now but reading between lines could be possible Sept 24 casualities....?

Never made sense
There is a lot of redundancy between the three facilities. Once they are combined you bet on more than 50% of the workers gone. With them being separate it’s a little difficult. There are few upper management jobs that carry a big salary but very little benefit. I can see them being let go on 9/24
interesting re: cuts based on overtime. Lots of redundancy and bloat on Long Island of managers/directors/VPs who would be exempt from overtime. If you were to put the NOC and CCC in a venn diagram the overlap is large and that is putting it mildly.
Rumor of cuts based upon average yearly salary, including overtime, being circulated. Sounds like a Dolan approach.
Tech cuts will happen on September 24th. A plan is in place for facilities but the pep boys wanted heads, not real estate cuts. Blame them
I think they realized that the BC and CCC are the only gems they got. They should go back to the old school way or should I say legacy way of hiring from within and not muppets to destroy what's left. We already have Shari for that.
