Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Is anybody else having trouble keeping their food down?

I don't remember the last time I was stressing this much. I'm guessing it'll be a sleepless night tonight for at least some of us.

@1usu+1u0Epq21 seriously i feel for you, but if it's that bad i would seriously consider leaving csco.

no job is worth that amount of stress/anxiety/need to constantly be medicated in order to survive

There won't be any details to employees whom may be affected by LR (what a stupid euphemism, it's a layoff) until next week. The time to start worry was a 6 months ago. Everyone should be prepared by now. If you are surprised by this, you are more useless that then who most people blame for this, the ELT. Now is not the time to do something about this situation, It was when the last LR happen.

Yeah, twisted stomach and nerves, even though I'm pretty sure I'm in enough important work not to get cut. I've seen very important employees get cut in previous rounds so the nerves come no matter how hard one is working.
