I can't sleep, I'm too nervous about what's been happening. A good friend from the legal department lost his job today so this already hit close to home. I tried to offer him words of encouragement but I knew myself they were empty. I'm petrified that the same thing will happen to me and I know finding a new job right now is not easy. I feel sick to my stomach over this.

Does anyone know how many people were let go yesterday roughly?
I received a "safe" email yesterday, but does that mean I'm safe until Sept. 24? Who is to know. This is heartbreaking.
Can’t sleep either. Was laid off yesterday. It’s like a never ending nightmare. :(
Nothing will happen today. Anything that happens today is because you were out yesterday. The September 24th cuts will be Tech, Streaming , HR and Marketing but mostly Tech and Streaming. If you sit in any of those I would start to look around. I am not saying leave but be prepared
