I had no idea until this thread that people still used landlines at work.

Taking away the phones before more layoffs. No communication with others at Met after they shut down your laptop.

Winged boots = day LTL jumped the shark.

It's all downhill from here.

None of the co pilot license winners appear to be American.

Winged boots are all part of the clown show this place has become.

The boot wings were crazy, but the CoPilot License Raffle is insane.

Is CoPilot worth the fee? If so, get it for everyone that wants it.

Are they trying to build demand for CoPilot by limiting it?

The company is in financial trouble and grasping at the straws on where they can cut expenses, without of course cutting executive comp or executive travel and entertainment. LTL is just to distract the masses from what's really going on.

I just don’t think landlines are necessary…not sure what the big deal is. Honestly can’t think the last time I used one. I couldn’t care less if the execs have one or not. Feels like the moral indignation over landlines is a bit of a stretch

@2acc+1tzzD5zo Apparently all the C-suite and their secretaries, who get to keep their landlines AND their multiple corporate mobiles, but removing landlines was done supposedly to create "a consistent associate experience". They get caught up in their own lies and lame excuses. Met is apparently in some dire financial distress. Run, don't walk ...

Who uses a landline anymore anyhow?

They are too cheap to buy copilot licenses for everyone who could benefit from it, so the "raffle" is supposed to be the next best thing. AI, but only for 100 lucky schmucks. Pathetic handling, just like removing our office landline phones.

Nice highlight of MetLife’s incestuous and inappropriate relationships there at the end where the dude stood up claimed that he is married to a woman on stage and demand a copilot license.

@2uev+1tzzD5zo go to the part of the recording where he interviews the first woman and it'll instantly make sense.

So why does he keep doing these? Are other NY companies holding these programs? At this point should India host all LTL?
