Did I miss something or has it been calm on the layoff front for six months?

Layoffs tend to happen before the fiscal year which starts in February. Then they take a break until around November where they start layoffs again. I'd say contact center/ contact center support is next as they already have a third party team taking on calls.
Specialist will be next flooring first and then appliances . Text to install is live
Amazon right, that organization is in need of Lowes. Where or where do you come up with these ideas?
Lowe’s bought some time by selling off all non USA stores and restructuring I T and HR. As soon as the earrings dip on stock another round would be likely. Eta q1 2025. In a prediction sure to be wrong… look for Lowe’s to be bought out by Menards or Amazon with in the next 2 years.
Specialists will be the next target. It's been mused over for a years now but with the integration of in home consulting and sales it basically deletes the need for them. I would expect it to be more of a "multi-coverage" specialist first so they can cut numbers without breaking the whole system immediately (i.e. going from lets say 8 specialists to 4-5.
So who do think will be the next target?
At the store level no layoffs are necessary. You just get fired.
Just laying off customers right now.
They are coming ,sales continue to decline ,quarter after quarter .
I laid myself off at the beginning of January after 21 years with the company.
I'm asking because if I'm right, then we're due a round sometime soon.
