NextEra Energy Appoints Medtronic CEO to Board of Directors

NextEra Energy, Inc. has expanded its Board of Directors, appointing Geoffrey S. Martha, the CEO and Chairman of Medtronic plc, as the new member. Martha brings a wealth of experience, having held various leadership roles within Medtronic and GE Healthcare. His addition to the board is aligned with the company’s growth strategy, and he will also serve on the Finance & Investment Committee. Martha’s compensation as a director will be in line with the existing non-employee director remuneration policy at NextEra Energy.
