Ray is a fast-talking BS peddler. He talks about "innovation", but he is glad that Xerox is now nothing more than a reseller. You don't innovate by reselling other companies' products. You innovate through R&D and engineering. You become an industry leader by building products that best meet the customers' needs.
Clearly this guy just doesn't understand hardware and technology. He said that computing needs are moving away from hardware and toward "the cloud." The cloud consists of hardware (servers, routers, switches, and more).
