If people keep quitting at the same rate they have been over the past few years, we won’t even need layoffs anymore. At all. Everyone’s burnt out and leaving in huge numbers. They’re also taking their skills and knowledge with them, but it’s not as if anybody cares.

Very true. People are walking out the door and decades of knowledge is going with them. Once gone this knowledge cannot be recovered. It will be a huge loss and the work load on the remaining employees will most likely increase with the off shore be incompetent.
