Thread regarding Ford layoffs

What in the world is going on with Bronco??

Drove by the dealership across from MAP yesterday and couldn't count the number of unsold Broncos sitting on the lot. I thought we had a sure fire long term hit with the Bronco. Doesn't look like we can give them away!

The current 1,750 incentive is not sufficient nor is the A-plan. Reduce the A-plan 5-6k and some units will move. Interest rates and everything else are too high currently; thus, there is simply less disposable income for this product. Time to make money with volume rather than margin.

Ford dealers with their vehicles similar to young women in G7 countries. Steeply overestimate their worth until they’re past their prime then end up in a panic and going for a deep discount online haha

The Ford Flex is the same as the Bronco but much more room and they are very cheap on the used market.

Bronco is an avg vehicle, but it looks like they are building way too many. Need to align production with actual demand not the demand executives are saying because that is made up to get their fat bonuses.

Look at the prices of those things, nobody is gonna by them especially in these times. CEOs and people at the top of all these companies are completely out of touch with reality.

@OP. The Bronco is worse off road than the Jeep Wrangler, and while the Bronco is better in some areas (and roomier), it is still not good enough to overtake the Wrangler, and especially not good enough to pay $13,000 more that on a Jeep.

At least in my area, the cheapest Bronco (not the Sport) starts at $52,000, plus taxes, fees and delivery, while the Wrangler starts at $39,000. Sorry, but 50K+ is a lot of money right now, especially for a quality lacking vehicle.

Earlier this year I was at the dealership and was asking for pricing on Bronco leases. I was told every single Bronco on the lot was spoken for, total BS, most likely trying to avoid A-plan.
