Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Schwab lying to clients that their advisors retired instead of moving to different firm

First Schwab lays off their employees or else extorts them to resign. Now some are lying to clients to tell them that their advisors retired when these advisors (that they laid off or forced terminations on) moved on to a competing firm - in order to keep clients from following these advisors?

How low will Schwab go? Don't they know there is a thing called 'Linked-In'? How will it look for them when their clients find out they are being lied to by the very people managing their hard earned money? Would you trust to have your money with an untrustworthy firm?

to the id--t calling others a loser: you must be one yourself if you have nothing to contribute aside from calling others losers. You must be the leader of the Schwab culture. What a fine example of a Schwab employee.

For those still working for Schwab, they know the truth and this is the truth. Management is trying to cover up their corrupt practices. Well, look at the stock price and performance today. It is a summary of all the unethical work that has been done.

"Why would anyone lie about something like this? It actually happened."

Yeah, why would anyone ever lie? Especially on the Internet, the source of truth!

Clown!

In our team there were 4 minorities and 1 white. They ALL got laid off. Branch manager is a lily white woman and her boss was white too. Both stayed behind and brought in cheaper new hires but not as experienced.. But of course the b!tch and her sidekick are not going to lay themselves off. The lily white branch manager is the one spreading the lies.

Luckily, all 4 people moved on to other money management firms. They all received better packages along with a culture not infested with poison like Schwab.

Why would anyone lie about something like this? It actually happened. The person who is calling OP a liar will rot in H∈LL for calling OP a liar. Just wait. Karma is coming for him/her. Always does.

In our team there were 3 minorities and 2 whites. Now all 3 minorities were laid off. Let me share some more details one minority used to do the work, another minority used to talk about the work and the white person was given credit for the work!

If you look at big picture, minorities are impacted disproportionately. No one in HR can dispute that fact!

F∪ck Schwab. Schwab is ghetto. Used to be upstanding money manager with a decent reputation. Such a shame they stooped so low.

Clients can reach out to their ex-advisors on LinkedIn. Not hard to look them up and get the truth. But Schwab should not be lying about ex-employees whereabouts to others and jeopardize that ex-employee's livelihood and be open to lawsuit.

How else will Schwab retain clients? Certainly not with their sh*tty platform. If they are honest and transparent with clients, their clientele will be like a ghost town.

Would not put it past Schwab. Just another model example of endless unethical tactics from leadership. Slander and libel to keep scr#wing with employees long after they lay them off. When will Schwab stop?
