They are smart to not trigger WARN notice. So they tend to fly under the radar by spreading the layoffs.
The layoffs are quiet layoffs… a few positions have been pruned across the company but the dates are staggered to not trigger media coverage. A few layoffs here or there and nobody notices, but a few hundred spread out among months and they’ll get by without a shock-report on news sites. The largest set of layoffs to one organization within the company was one set of 9 employees a few weeks ago. More small sets of layoffs are expected to finish up by November.
