Excuse me, but could you please explain why the audio department appears to be unaffected by the layoffs that have impacted other departments, such as TAM and GRACENOTE?

@op what department?
that is awful!!! were you a contractor or have they officially stopped severance now
wow that is truly awful. I’m sorry.
I was FIRED from Audio yesterday with a bunch of others no severance no reach out program to other companies for rehire. Thanked for our services a shown the door . A--holes
OP obviously has no idea what is going on in the audio business. More than half of the management staff was laid off in the first wave; us in TAM weren’t the only mgmt hits
“One manager was laid off in audio a few months ago … not a good example considering several were laid off in TAM.”
Just sounds like tam got targeted first. Don’t be so sure audio is out of the woods. We’re all on the chopping block and times ticking
No one cares about the order. Fu--ing with the votes makes it look like a bunch of people agree or disagree with a message and that’s not the case when it’s one person doing it.
"These votes are being manipulated by someone"
This is not reddit. Upvotes and downvotes don't matter. Or are you saying Nielsen workers can't think for themselves? Reddit makes upvotes appear at top. Here, it doesn't. If enough downvotes maybe it could go to an admin to check and delete. Nielsen managers trying to stop a conversation think upvotes here matter? RoFL
Can we get back on topic… audio is in the crosshairs JM ALL OF A SUDDEN takes retirement … that’s suspicious? Maybe he was offered retirement vs being laid off?
One manager was laid off in audio a few months ago … not a good example considering several were laid off in TAM. 🤷♀️
"Here you can downvote this one to he-l too. These votes are being manipulated by someone."
I'm pretty sure you were flooding the votes to prove ur own point and down voting yourself. You can respond back by up voting me because you're doing reverse psychology or some sh-t.
There was a pattern to the posts they were doing it on but since it’s been called out now they’re just button smashing everything. Probably some loser on a private browser whose feelings are hurt.
Does Nielsen use bots or something? How the he-l does this topic have 24 upvotes when hardly anyone cares about Nielsen Audio?
Here you can downvote this one to he-l too. These votes are being manipulated by someone. Be careful what you’re consuming on here there’s definitely someone with an agenda camped out in these posts. They took the bait and it’s clear now.
Oh boy now they’re button smashing the next comment too
Notice the comment about mix guy is the only one getting non stop votes
"Clearly you’re not a Nielsen employee."
Policy is to contact your manager or your HRBP with business concerns.
The guy that posts the mixes all the time is annoying IYKYK
Could be attrition
I would say that audio is the only thing that is left to Nielsen. They are loosing the streaming battle so they need to hold on to something.
@ask manager hahahahah joke of the century
Clearly you’re not a Nielsen employee.
i’m sure it’ll come eventually. other departments have been slower to layoff, like Sports. but that’s starting to ramp up now.
Perhaps Radio is already a declining industry since TV is better than radio, and now that Nielsen's TV is a declining industry because Nielsen data is flawed, TV is being laid off because TV hasn't been declining like Radio has because Radio has already declined so much? Perhaps TV stations are moving away from Nielsen for better data and Radio is not? Why don't you ask your manager why Nielsen isns't laying off Radio?
Why? Do you want Audio to be laid off too?
