Amazing video.
"I won't say if I believe him or not, because it's his word v. the company, and right now none of us trust the corporate team"
He declined a $51,000 settlement from Nielsen WHILE HOMELESS because Nielsen wanted to silence him from speaking out about the racism he experienced. What does that say about him?
LMAO it's that guy! I've been aware of him for like the last 5+ years. He has uploaded SO MANY videos so many times, across so many different youtube channels trying to claim discrimination. I won't say if I believe him or not, because it's his word v. the company, and right now none of us trust the corporate team, but this guy seems unhinged and has absolutely spammed youtube with his videos and claims.
The video has 125K views.
"If he spent as much time working towards a new job or career instead of spending his time blaming Nielsen for his problems he would have been better off."
It's obvious Nielsen destroyed his life. Nielsen tried to silence him from speaking out and for him to delete his youtube videos with their $51,000 settlement offer. Screenshots of the $51,000 settlement agreement are in the video in the section about Nielsen. That enough proof for you? He is pro se. How many people without lawyers get 51K settlement offers for employment discrimination lawsuits?
The video's only been out 2 weeks and there are 108K views. I wonder if the one video will surpass Nielsen's official Youtube channel in views. Just 4x more views to go and it will pass Nielsen's 418,084 total channel views.
"60 minutes, The New York Times, Washington Post"
What about The Civil Rights Lawyer, We the People University, Long Island Audit and Lackluster? Which will spread the message quicker? Old media or new media?
Should this person be seen as a whistleblower?
I think he should, more so if you start watching his own channel when he talks more about Nielsen and the work they do.
I myself, after working here for several years now, tell all my friends to never, ever, signup with Nielsen, they will have no concerns on selling all the personal data then can from you, and that's is just the tip of the iceberg...
Should this person be seen as a whistleblower?
"‘Amazing Video’???"
Don't watch the video so less chance it spreads!!!!
If this guy has such legitimate, earth-shattering claims, then he needs to take his case(s) to 60 minutes, The New York Times, Washington Post, or some other respected source that would give him the kind of exposure he seems to seek.
Otherwise, this just seems like a pile of sensationalized crappola with no relevance to the lay-off posts most are here for.
‘Amazing Video’??? Well, he certainly must think so, since he keeps sharing on forums like this….a true legend in his own mind….
Its no secret youtube views can be purchased. No proof those video views are legit.
The views could be fake for we know. Never trust first party data. There is a reason why Nielsen is the most trusted source for ratings
I find it hilarious that Nielsen's official Youtube channel has 213 videos and a total of 418,026 views. That one video about the man's lawsuits and the $51,000 settlement from Nielsen being declined has over 103,000 views. What does this tell you about what people care about?
The votes are supposed to show a general agreement or disagreement with the message. Someone messing with them makes it look like an overwhelming majority feels a way they don’t. I can see why it’s bothering some ppl
Dude someone needs to send it to Lackluster Media. Once he has it, everyone knows what Nielsen did to him.
Some conspiracy theorists think upvotes and downvotes here matter. This isn't Reddit. Messages appear in order.
"those soverign citizen types"
Think they are first amendment supporters and some may be actual first amendment auditors.
"Stop making it harder to sign homes."
Highly doubt it will make any difference. The comments look to be on the subject of policing. And those soverign citizen types aren't exactily what we are looking for to participate anyway. They are crazy enough to believe everyone should record the police.
"I don’t know about the video but someone here on this forum is definitely manipulating the up and down votes."
Nielsen Human Resources and management do monitor these forums. There should be a lot more downvotes because they tried to pay him off. Perhaps their lawyers are here too.
I don’t know about the video but someone here on this forum is definitely manipulating the up and down votes.
"He is also manipulating the votes."
Video has 4.1K likes and 1.2K comments. Looks like a normal ratio. Can't see the number of dislikes.
“I don't think this is about poor performance because poor performance is the normal at Nielsen. I've seen "staff engineers" that would just not complete any work and talk their way out of it.”
I’ve witnessed the same thing in my department.
Oh sh-t. According to the video he declined Nielsen's offer because Nielsen wanted to shut him up about racism.
Seems like he represented himself In propria persona for the lawsuits against police. Seems like the settlement was negotiated without a lawyer. That's huge.
"Poor performance does not equal discrimination."
Pretty sure he was the #1 signer on the swat team.
Poor performance does not equal discrimination.
I don't think this is about poor performance because poor performance is the normal at Nielsen. I've seen "staff engineers" that would just not complete any work and talk their way out of it.
The fact that Nielsen tried to settle also shows what is this about.
Poor performance does not equal discrimination.
And yet, Nielsen tried to settle by paying him money :)
He is also manipulating the votes. Go away TV Ratings Guy. This is about layoffs and not you or your personal EEOC agenda.
Poor performance does not equal discrimination.
So that's the guy who rejected 51 thousand settlement from Nielsen.
Hate to break it to you 100,000 views is not viral.
He should just shut his mouth. Stop making it harder to sign homes. It's hard enough without this bad pr.
