Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

If you make a complaint be sure to back up written documentation on personal device or email

Once Nielsen terminates you, you are locked out and can't retrieve evidence of discrimination and retaliation. Back up everything related to your EEOC case ahead of time. Nielsen will retaliate if tell them you are going to the eeoc. Once you say you are going to eeoc, be prepared to be terminated by HR under a pretext reason.

"If you are DEI"

Do you go around and call minorities "DEI"? Are you a racist like Tanner Tate?

Nielsen is one of most left leaning organizations that I have ever worked for. If you are DEI and did not get the promotion or got fired, it’s time to look inward! Your life will not improve if you keep blaming others for your failures!

This Sept 2023 excerpt is a recent example of Nielsen discrimination posted in news release on US Department of Labor’s website. News release in its entirety can be found @ https://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/ofccp/ofccp20230912

‘US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, NIELSEN COMPANY US REACH AGREEMENT TO RESOLVE ALLEGED RACE-BASED HIRING DISCRIMINATION IN DALLAS, SAN ANTONIO
Employer to pay $570K in back wages to 994 Asian, Black, multi-racial, white applicants
DALLAS – The Nielsen Company US LLC, a global marketing research, data analytics and opinion-research company, will pay $570,000 in back wages and interest to resolve allegations of systemic race-based hiring discrimination in Dallas and San Antonio identified by the U.S. Department of Labor.

The payment is part of a conciliation agreement with the department after routine compliance evaluations by the department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs alleged discrimination in Nielsen’s hiring practices. The employer will pay back wages and interest to 994 job applicants, extend job opportunities to 56 affected applicants, and take steps to ensure its personnel practices — including recordkeeping, internal audits..’

“Nielsen does not discriminate or retaliate against employees.”

(P1) Nielsen is a respectable company.
(P2) Nielsen treats employees properly.
(C) Therefore, Nielsen does not discriminate or retaliate against employees.

Said no-one ever, even the CEO who has s-xual relations with his staff while married.

Eight words that instantly prove how delusional people have become at the company, and further explained in argument standard form. You’re welcome.

“Haha. What a waste of time. Nielsen does not discriminate or retaliate against employees.”

Quite the contrary Karthik as the EEOC has already validated the retaliation and discrimination charges and is currently in mediation with the company.

The rest is for information to those who oversee the operations of the company, and what they ultimately do with the info is up to them. If no-one talks, no-one knows.

Should have done the right thing and been a respectful company to those who have served it for so many years as not everyone needs your pitiful severance. You’ll pay much more than what was initially offered and be held more accountable in the end. Trust that.

Haha. What a waste of time. Nielsen does not discriminate or retaliate against employees. You were laid off. It su-ks but that's what it is. MRC & EY will laugh at you and you "allegations". Spend your time & energy looking for work. Not trying to make a quick.

I bypassed the severance agreement while saving 100+ documents prior to leaving, and have a case in progress with the EEOC, US Department of Labor and with my state representative in Congress.

I’ve also scheduled meetings with the leaders of the MRC and EY to discuss inconsistencies in processes and reporting that I’m sure Nielsen is not openly disclosing.

I have zero loyalty to a company who has been this terrible to so many people, and encourage others to do the same if you value yourself as an employee with ANY company. No severance is worth being silenced when being treated so badly.
