@dtr+1tkjibGH said it best.
Americans don't want small death trap sized sedans anymore.
It's a good thing that Ford stopped wasting money on small vehicles like sedans.
Farley is an incompetent clown.
He got rid of the fusion.
And how many customers actually want an EV the size of a death trap?
JF is a fool. Americans aren't going to give up their 5.0 F150s for a Fiesta with a combustible battery! 😂😂
This is a creative way to increase BEV volume and thus increase profitability of all BEV vehicles.
I wouldn't get your hopes up on the listening part. These types of "realizations" and pivots are what indicate an unclear direction. Toyota has been eating the big 3s lunch not in the least because they still sell cars / sedans. They never got distracted. Now everyone is entitled to redirect and correct. But the writing was on the wall. Toyota's success is no mystery. Of course batteries are expensive. Of course people still want sedans. Quit blaming the customer for making you stop selling them, because they didn't. Clearly they just went elsewhere. They are also willing to pay more even in this market for quality as proven again by Toyotas success. Learn or don't.
I'd seriously be considering my future with any of the big 3 right now especially Ford. Trust your future to a more stable industry. Nit everyone can go work for the few that are stable right now. They think they can get most talent from LCC anyway so why not let them prove it? Plenty of other work out there. Anyone who tells you there isn't is scared of competition and trying to prevent you from succeeding.
