I'd like to see numbers on how many have been terminated broken down by s-x, age, race, country, and hiring stats for the same.

MetLife has to file most of the on EEO1 form for USA.

Oh I see we are skeptical that mother Met would get rid of women instead of men? Acting rationally to save money, Met would lay off a lot of high paid expensive older men. But how many of those guys are also tax credits for affirm action plans for ex-military? Do all of the “Chads” and “Owens” get regular VP salaries or a lower rate for the ex military affirm action guys?

@2uxb+1tjIPKeJ ... Pappy isn't concerned about preserving nor respecting American life or its values. He hasn't forgotten. He is a past member of The Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Payments Risk Committee. Think about that and how things play out on the world stage.

Pappy just couldn't resist making his 4th of July message "global" and "inclusive". He forgets it's an American and American-only holiday! Stop with the woke nonsense and pandering to our global colleagues who aren't American, especially during our holiday! It's this BS that people are sick and tired of.

ARe you saying that they disproportionately terminated older women?

The question is, why would they do that? Do older men get more done than older women?

"Legal expects a class action lawsuit for ageism. "

If so, they should expect a class action lawsuit for gender bias in the terminations, too.

If your workforce is old, then when you terminate people, they are likely to be old, too.

Quibbling about age and s-x is just arranging chairs on the Titanic. The real issue is that the American ship is going down to be replaced by GOSC.

Wait, Kandarian is still alive? Not chairman of the board, but maybe retired in Florida?

@ctb+1tjIPKeJ it's already a thing. Growth at GOSC has doubled. This has been the plan for 2 years.

Hmm, @ozu+1tjIPKeJ.

I imagine firing the top lawyer part is true.
I imagine wanting to lower labor costs is true.
I imagine wanting to hire younger people is true.

But the part about wanting to hire young men and terminate women? He would be stupid to say that if he believed that, even to an internal group. And, if you believe the popular statistics (I don't), women are cheaper than men for the same work.

Kandarian is Chairman of the Board. Is CEO going to pitch that to him and have him say, yeah, legally, that's a great idea? I don't think so. In fact, their DEI plan says just the opposite - hire more women, especially at officer levels.

It seems that the plan is to shift labor out of the USA. The jobs will be outsourced as quickly as they believe Americans can be replaced.

Margaret Atwood scripted it.

Board admins keep deleting posts and threads. Screenshot this post as they will likely delete it. ---During pandemic, CEO announced internally and shared with Board his strategy to hire young inexpensive employees and push out older expensive employees. He and the top lawyer disagreed about it. He fired the top lawyer and brought in his lower paid younger less scope new top co-lawyer. CEO's plan has manifested as terminating a lot of women for alleged performance issues and hiring a lot of young men. Legal expects a class action lawsuit for ageism.
