Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

When’s the next round?

We know this ain’t over. They won’t rest until there is only a breeze through empty offices.

Just hardware? Your thinking too small. DB has their very own CTO that doesn’t tie into the enterprise at all. Now, why don’t think that is?

From what I have read on this forum, it reads as hardware is gone. No R&D, no engineering support, no customer support, no new hardware.

My guess service contracts will be canceled and anyone left (CE, support, parts) gone as of 12/31/2024.

All they want is SaS.

Digital banking product wasn’t touched
No idea how they get away with it when we have to have products actually go to market. Who leads their product team? Toby something?

Most of the current field leadership should go. Start with Henthorn. That guy has been a mess since the day he got here. Unfortunately, I am still with the company, and I was hoping to get the RIF. We had things going right, and then leadership sc--wed it up.. again. I wish some of the ones who were let go were the ones in charge, as they knew how to fix it.

Yes mid to late Nov. has been their go to. They have good idea of where the numbers are at and cut people to make numbers better. In Sept. to Oct. they start with freeze on travel and expenses.

All of this to make their bonus better.

I would think if not end of this 3rd quarter, it would be in November or December. This company has always deprived some employees of a happy Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday.
