Thread regarding F5 Networks Inc. layoffs

5 billion dollars in revenue

How many more employees will be involuntarily terminated to make the 5 billion dollar in revenue goal? Since the time of the newest CEO, 1500 souls have been involuntarily terminated with only an increase of revenue of $800 million through 2023. Is getting to 5 billion dollars revenue worth another 4000 involuntary terminations?

Where is the human first in all of the this? I'm embarassed and disgusted that I ever was an employee of F5.

They’re hiring remote support engineers. Remote CSMs. But if you’re u lucky enough to be seated within 30 miles, as a crow flies not as the road takes you, get effed.

The bar is too high

"Have they been quietly conducting layoffs?"

It feels like preparations are in full swing. First, there are those who still need to meet the RTO quota; second, there are remote employees. It also depends on a manager's style of work. If she doesn't have skills managing projects done by knowledgeable remote workers, she would prefer to control people in the office.

Where is the $5 billion revenue target coming from? All that I have seen is $3.5B by the end of fiscal 24, which we have gone from 2.3 to 2.8B... $5b maybe if F5 starts fixing the product portfolio, gets sales right, and marketing actually starts CAPTIALIZING on this thing called AI. ... this Forbes article did not help us... makes us all in the product org look goofy....

Headcount isn't mutually exclusive to revenue (top line), but is to profit on the bottom line.
