Why are they starting to roll out mandatory DEI training? Also, will they be applying equity to everyone, or do you have to identify certain ways to qualify for equity adjustments?

It's clearly working out for the Secret Service
“Fast followers”
That’s the official COP way.
You guys are still pushing DEI? Lmao it’s not 2021 anymore.
If you get torn down for asking why, how are you being accepting of different views. I guess at the next survey we will need to be clear why it scored low.
@openMindedEmployee: If belonging to me means we don’t focus on DEI and you oppose me, then you are interfering with my sense of belonging. See how that works?
Maybe the low belonging rating means different things to different people? Who can agree the perspective questions are terribly worded? And why does training about belonging fall into the DEI category? DEI is not the same as the feeling of belonging necessarily. It's a vast abyss of whatever arbitrary victimhood anyone wants to hold onto while continuing to try to segregate people and focus on differences.
Is calling people “snowflakes” and other names part of the training?
If so, it’s working well!
Comments are getting deleted here. Ha.
Why not mandatory training for cost of supply, facilities, production, subsurface, o&g markets, etc?
Good riddance to the people complaining about DEI who are threatening to leave. I'm sure you will be missed. I took the training and thought it was fine. They deliberately kept it very general and broad as to not offend any of the snowflakes ranting against DEI programs. It was repeated several times that DEI at ConocoPhillips is about making sure everyone belongs, if you are against that simple idea then I don't know what to say.
Interesting... Maybe I’ve been out of the loop on emails but what do you mean “will they be applying equity to everyone or will you have to qualify for equity adjustments”? I went through the training but didnt see that part or the part about religious views. Did I miss it? Or is there a different training that stuff is in?
It seems like we are getting to the point where I may no longer be able to stay because I am required to support viewpoints that do not align with my beliefs. I don't bring my beliefs into the workplace, but I shouldn't be required to change to a religion that is different than my views. I am good with you doing what you want, but also let me do mine
Always years behind the curve. As other companies are eliminating their DEI programs, we are doubling down. Follow the money. An entire group of people who have nothing to do with our core business need job protection. Let’s please get back to the business of making oil and gas.
