Exec. Director GR (PS, been around forever) laid off this morning. Pretty sure the 60 or so PS people ins store line/store point are going to be let go.

I love how NCR decided last year to change their severance policy, from years to the level you are. So some higher level person is hired, lasts a year before a layoff and they get a higher severance than an employee who has been there for 20 years!!! And they say they care and support the best and brightest and then turn around and let them go and show them their years of service werent appreciated!!!!
Best bet to find out about what the severance package is not here, many legal issues about disclosure, maybe if you had a buddy who has went through it, they can explain the process and inform you more in a very private conversation.

Even the most annoyed and upset workers still do their best work. And yet we still get treated like trash for caring about the products and customers.
Management is soulless and the third party generating the list of layoffs is soulless.

Laid off yesterday. Retail. Know about 3 others from my team (SCO) and apparently the majority of UR hires within the last 2 years were affected
Even though I got laid off at least our CEOs have the courage to post in this forum. This is a free forum where employees are allowed to speak their mind, something I strongly believe in as an American. Sir I appreciate the opportunity to serve this company good luck to you

This layoff has been planned since Q1. Names were given back then on who would be RIF’ed.
Deeply saddened by the layoffs. Just heard from my good friend and fellow CEO Owen Sullivan about the news. So many of our employees who have been a part of our family for so long. Was about to start this payday Friday with a nice w@nk but I must make the sacrifice for this company and our remaining family members

Managers got pulled into a meeting Wednesday afternoon and told that layoffs were happening on Thursday. Names were not provided to us until around 9-10 pm Wednesday night so most of us didn't see them until Thursday morning. We had no input into this at all and had no warning. I lost critical people on my team that we cannot operate with out and have no one to fill those roles so customers are going without support now. The message we were told to give was that this was to strengthen the company and put us in a position for growth. Such bullsh!t. I am sorry to everyone affected by this. There are more layoffs coming as they do every year. There will likely be no US based employees left by the end of the year. This place is so mismanaged.

My leadership team has yet to say anything to us about this RIF. It would be nice to know if more layoffs are coming or not! I swear they only see us as some commodity.

No one in Serbia from what I heard, although this just might be wave 1
at this rate I’d give Voyix less than two year to completely disappear.
Average Serb has aprox 800$ monthly salary in ncr - talking about support positions. They arent happy as well
Someone mentioned you can hire 4 people in Serbia for 1 US employee. NCR does not have good reputation in Serbia and turnover is huge across all departments. There are far better companies than this one.
I bet Trump gained some votes after today's layoff's. From what I hear only one IC was let go in Canada. Man we are becoming a slim company. Hopefully for the Canadian techs we wont be hit. At least we are a union province where I am and layoffs go by seniority and I figure if they lay me off we are closing our doors for good. Crazy times
