Town hall today, 1 in 4 UK employees being fired and replaced with India. Sounds like more operations type of roles. Tone deaf leadership describing how wonderful it will be to help the company sustainably grow, zero empathy for people and their families, unbelievable

Do not trust it’ll only be 1 in 4. They’re replacing EVERYONE. They’re letting crucial people go in the states, where their absence will 100% lead to clients going. Don’t trust a fu--ing thing your management is telling you. None of you are safe. Not a one. This is just the beginning for you.
Yes, a race to the bottom. Just discarding people with 10,20,30+ years, who have had many roles is not easily replaceable with some quick hiring based on high level understanding of job roles. Just sad
It’s already been happening in the United States. Same with families being destroyed and the manner in which the company is notifying employees is demoralizing. Be glad to go the company is tanking.
Heard of the first people in the UK having "informal chats" with HR without manager present. Not sure that this is even legal.
