1mfh+1tdyTg15 I am guessing you have zero clue what that team is being put through. It has nothing today with comfort of working in your own home.

Customer service has become a Hazardous duty job... ??? What an asinine thought!

Sitting at the comfort of a desk... in a temperature controlled environment with paid breaks, lunch, vacation accruals.. while talking ON THE PHONE... is now deemed hazardous?

Construction, HVAC, plumbers, tradesmen military, medical, police and fire fighters must have it made in the shade.

For the person with the last comment? How do you know and what org are they in?

Folks are being let go tomorrow. I know of a few, but I have no sense of the scope of the layoff beyond my narrow vantage point, but there will be some for sure.

Honestly, I think the new plan is just to make everyone as miserable as possible so they leave on their own at this point. The PIP will take care of a lot as well. It’s been mentioned before that small layoffs have always been happening, so that is still a possibility in some areas I would assume. If warn doesn’t have to be triggered for letting go of less than 500, they don’t pay the severance for the admin leave time, they literally give you 2 weeks of severance. I’m not sure if this would be true for higher paid positions though.

Layoff watch has been extended to include any day that ends in Y. At this point just expect it, unless you are an overseas team.

Previous rumor posts mentioned either 06/21 or 06/28. Honestly, with Q3 being right around the corner, and 06/28 the last "business day" for Q2, I wouldn't be surprised if there is still a layoff set for this Friday, in an attempt to start Q3 with less labor costs, but who knows if any of this is true.

I would expect the worst and hope for the best.

No one in frontline wants to get their hopes up again. I hate that I feel that way. But customer service has become a hazardous duty job at this point.
