Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Work Elimination Email

Anyone understand what the heck was the email about today. Do they understand we don’t care what they are saying. Just offer layoff packages and get it over with.
Still cheaper paying all these consultants
Please stop the madness!!!!!!

I'm based at a refinery, but report through corporate. Maybe I'll get lucky this time.

Yes no layoffs at refineries except roles that are based out of corporate.

Houston, your turn is coming. Everyone who's not an engineer must be ready for their role to be cut.

Layoffs this last week in Bartlesville. Anyone hearing when more are expected?

A lot of folks from Billings have, although that's less to do with BT, and more to do with an apocalyptically bad ops manager.

Go interview at Chevron and Shell. They’re paid more. Of course the positive is you get an offer and leave. Don’t listen to the co-mie elt. Of course they want you to stay.

I’ve been working almost 30 years. And now I hear I have to do more because my SGL is higher than my peers at 25 years old, while they hire consultants to do their job
I’m ashamed of myself for working my a-s off and not taking vacations, working at night for what! Kick me to the curb when they are done with me. The ELT announce they are retiring and stay on as (special Assignment) to get paid another 6 months plus bonus so let just say another 3 million. They have security walk us out like criminals the same day!
Go Go Go

Any news when is the layoff?

by

Post ID: @frxu+1tdCuhGm

So discouraged. If the ELT or Board read this, someone please help all of us trying to make this a great place to work. Consistent messaging that we are all overpaid while you outearn what those at Chevron and Shell are making is getting tiresome.

The likes and dislikes are about equal on hoping the top few “leaders” in L and D are impacted by the next layoff.
How can anyone not think tat would be a good thing to happen?

Working at Phillips 66 was boring when everyone's jobs were secure, unchanged, and not constantly outsourced. Thankfully they brought exactly what was needed! The constant concern that Phillips 66 values profits over people and may remove my role at any moment has brought so much fun, exciting energy to the workplace! If my coworkers were still with the company, I'm sure they would also agree that this change is for the best!

This Work Elimination Program seems to be another Disaster, like the rest of the cr-p these consultants come up with.
Thought this was supposed to be transparent! They wonder why the people have anxiety and depression, and can’t stand going to work anymore.
I’m sure there will be layoffs when they come out with the results & Reorg this month.
Good luck and wish for the best🙏🏾

I’m sitting here waiting for you bottom feeders to get transformed out of a job. Someone on here can ask a legitimate question and you all dislike it. News flash, you provide no value to a company and are the reason why they have to do these layoffs

They have consultants for consultants. Maybe they should focus on obtaining real experience in their job rather than how to climb the corporate later faster than their peer group.
