Kate’s Report Card

The stock since Kate was hired is an industry worst.

When does she get shown the door.

What did she expect if you don’t replace the field leadership?

Most of the worthless goons are still in place receiving a check. If they were any good at all they would have found other employment by now.

This doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out.

Clueless Leadership!

So she worked for a company that is pretty much "regulated", without being regulated...if you catch my drift. A company that could turn record profits whenever they choose just by changing a few underlying items and calling it a new OS, give an "un supported date" and force 95% of corporations, and 84% of individuals to buy! Very similar to what USWest and regulated services had before forced divestiture and de-regulation....you know, a monopoly!! She is way smarter than you give her credit for my friends: walked away a millionaire from her previous employment, took a few year hiatus, got back in right when DEI became the almighty corporate initiative and setup another golden parachute to boot! She and SLT have no skin to lose...all they do is keep getting richer off our d-mb a**es! And who is going to call out the once again absorbent SLT pay and packages they keep giving themselves? Sure will not be the people with the lush gig and pay. Sounds pretty smart to me if you can get into it, no one to blame but us minions that have allowed this to happen for far too long. I won't get to the point of what it will take to change all this, pretty horrifying to think about...may God bless to all!

I agree. She inherited a sinking ship and stock dropped initially so low because she was a woman. They were misrepresenting numbers as men under Storey. He's to blame.

Now the stock can't recover from the drop.

But 100% within her control is getting a vision and a mission and getting leadership a few levels down on board and that has been a horrendous process for every exec at Lumen. Never seen a group of people so low in my life. There is no leadership after she discovered she got the short end of the stick.

Yep. Kate didn't make MSFT into the powerhouse and they don't miss her! Probably glad she is gone, actually! She should be shown the door for how badly LUMN has performed under her watch! Chris S should be shown the door as well. Both are clueless!

I disagree. Installing Kate as the captain of the Titanic after it hit the iceberg is not a reflection of Kate's abilities. Is she lying to you, of course. But, she did not drive the ship into the iceberg. It would be refreshing if she would just speak the truth. She was brought in to devise an exit strategy. You're up that well known estuary without means of propulsion.

The issue is our leadership is made up of cast offs and folks who rode the name and turnkey power of Microsoft, Amazon etc. Sure they have gaudy numbers and show accolades but truth is those company products and services sell themselves and in reality had very little to do with its product success. It’s like when Tom Brady left Patriots, Bill Bellichick has been average and was riding Tom Brady.

These folks leave companies and ex companies don’t miss a beat because the name sells.
