Chatter is that streaming will be hit in the September phase. Anyone hearing otherwise?

What's PI planning ? When is it scheduled for ?
Anyone who says do a sh---y job because of the position the company put you in with less staff is not a pro and should be ashamed. You prove your point by walking away not hanging around and adding sh-t to a sh-t pile.
Given the circumstances they should cancel PI planning. These layoffs are not surprising. All these mo--n mangers running like chickens w/o heads trying to save the titanic. Everyone, just do the bare minimum or even less. These pricks don’t deserve any talent or hard work. Let them go F themselves
@1pdg+1tZmfnmc Are you referencing the streaming that turned profit recently? As opposed to what? Dying linear tv?
I get it, you’re a salty marketing or legal that got cut. And that su-ks. But no reason to wish for other people to lose their jobs too.
@dyd+1tZmfnmc you keep posting about your PI planning. I would get over that. The future development will be bug fixes only no new enhancements. Take your paycheck but keep looking. Streaming is going to be gutted as should be. They are the reason the company is where we are.
The other thread mentioned a newly formed marketing team and an upcoming town hall from Amy Campbell - anyone know what divisions that will impact - she's the CMO MTV now - is she taking over more
Streaming Red Day comes shortly after PI planning. How are we going to commit to any features without even knowing we'll have resources? Or even without knowing if the product owner will even be here to kick off the project. ha. And in the short term, how can we even keep focused on our current tasks knowing we might not be here next month? Them dragging this out is so unbelievably cruel. Though I guess I should be thankful I'm still being paid...
Re: criteria -It was posted as a target amount that needed to be reached and it was up to the division head - an exact figure up 40% or more for streaming + marketing was in one of the threads
@hlj+1tZmfnmc Hopefully whoever makes LESS impact
Anyone know what criteria is used to choose the victims? Is it based on who makes the more as compared to their peers? @oak+1tZmfnmc

The previous posts and they haven't been wrong yet said 9/24 for streaming Names submitted at end July chiefs to evp to svp given targets to hit and and they chose the employees.
6 weeks from today on 9/24/24
Good luck, all.
@qzp+1tZmfnmc Good, that we I can focus on my job search. Even if I survive the cuts, I no longer feel like staying here. I'll time it so that I get a job offer at the same time as the pink slip, thus will have double salary for a few weeks. Tired of paying the price of incompetent and mediocre MF*ers that don't know how to manage
project deliveries and commitments are being postponed, date TBD. Nobody wants to commit anything until the dust settles. Productivity will come to grinding halt.
After NFL most likely
Haven’t heard anything to contradict that yet. By the silence from my dept (streaming) it sure seems like it.
Honestly, I’d prefer if they gutted us today as well. Waiting another month to find out if I’m out or not is cruel
What about all the MTVE nets? Nickelodeon got sla-ghtered but i am yet to hear about any of the other cable nets....???
@rsd+1tZmfnmc All of them!
I'm in P+ tech operations. Anyone know which department in streaming will be hit?
