Layoffs will last through September? Please tell me I'm misunderstanding something.

No, layoffs will continue through the end of the YEAR. 90% of the 15% of US STAFF will be cut by the end of Sept. I have heard Sept 24 is the next D-day. They already made lists of who to cut by end of July per HR commenters. Why they can't just fecking tell us all now boggles my mind. And remember once Skydance takes over in 2025 they will likely gut more people.

I wish they did it all in one shot. Either way I have my resume out and will leave this place the minute something better comes along. If it's not the constant threat of being let go at any time, it's the mismanagement, chaos, and lack of experience prevalent in IT.
Yes . In Email they mentioned three phases . So other than 8/13 and possibly 09/24 - not sure what is the other one
This goes in line with the dates that we've seen knocked around here (8/13 & 9/24) where different divisions are going to be impacted.
