The economy is never bad and there is never a recession fear for engineers who know what they are doing.

Stop whining and look for a job outside Cisco.

What I read is a lot of people with no stones would rather whine about their jobs than back the big mouths they have and leave. If you are that effing smart you shouldn't care about recession fears. Most engineers can be placed and in most cases for a lot less money.

Many Cisco internal jobs went on hold or cancelled
The insight is the HM wanted to onboard someone already identified but there we few job applications then they have to go through the sh-tty process of interviews showing that they have given equal opportunity. Cisco hiring mafia !

Poor strategy since 2006 is an even bigger problem. We have kept hiring leaders that don’t have b*lls to grow in the right direction. They want to just keep milking this old, safe, cow.
